Take Back the Night -          Take Back the Night is Tomorrow – if you are interested in bringing an item for the pot luck afterwards please drop it off at the WC by 5pm – due to dietary concerns and allergies please include an ingredient list thanks

5:45/6 - We have booked a bus to bring everyone downtown to The Underground.

Rocky Horror Picture Show
Happening October 30th 6:30 in A224. Admission: Donation for the Nipissing University Food Bank.
This is an interactive showing and supplies such as rice, newspapers, toilet paper, rubber gloves and party hats are welcome donations for prop bags (which will be available at the door for a donation).
Dress in drag. Prize for best costume.

NUSU Canadore/Nipissing Pride
Will have weekly meetings on Mondays at 11:30 in the WC.
The first event being run by CanNip Pride is a pumpkin carving contest on October 31st before the Northern Pride Halloween Dance
 For a $4 donation come carve a pumpkin and support CanNip Pride.

Women’s Centre T-Shirts
If you are interested in buying a Women’s Centre t-shirt let us know the colour you would like and size – shirts are $20 and read “This is what a feminist looks like”  in the front and has the WC logo on the back.
 
Santa Claus Parade

Due to time restraints the WC has decided against having a float in the parade – however, if you are interested in participating the Peer Mentor float and NUSU are looking for participants.

Canadore/Nipissing Pride will be holding it's Inaugural Meeting: Monday, Oct. 19 @11 in the W.C.

Attempting to have a FREE screening of Once Were Warriors on Nov. 25 for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

Looking for suggestions for a Santa Claus Parade Float. Theme is Olympics 2010. Parade is Nov. 15.

Christmas Tree Karma Bank will happen on Nov.2-6 in the Education Centre main hallway. Paper ornaments will be on sale for a 2$ donation. All funds will go to the North Bay Santa Fund. An Eating Disorder Awareness table will be setup in the same time frame.

Take Back the Night Poster + T-Shirt Making Party happening Oct. 20 @6:30 in the Treehouse Lounge. Bring your own snacks. Supplies will be provided. Bring your own black t-shirt.
